Alex Weldon
Director, Mortgage Adviser

Alex has 15 years’ experience in the property industry and extensive knowledge of the London and wider UK housing markets. Since moving into mortgage finance in 2018, he has advised a broad range of clients, from first-time buyers and portfolio landlords to those requiring larger or more complex loans.
With a degree in engineering and design, Alex brings an analytical and methodical approach to both mortgage advice and the way Pavilion operates. He has played a central role in developing the systems that support the team, improving accuracy and consistency while allowing advisers to spend more time with their clients.
Away from Pavilion, Alex is a devoted father of two and occasionally manages to fit in a round of golf.

Dan Gracie
Director, Mortgage Adviser

With over 20 years experience as a mortgage adviser, Dan specialises in complex income, overseas circumstances, high-value lending and cases requiring a bespoke approach. In 2023, he received the British Specialist Lending Award for “Broker: Complex Income.”
Alongside advising clients, Dan has worked with lenders in a consultancy capacity, contributing to specialist lending criteria, product development and underwriting processes. This experience helps him understand how lenders approach complex cases, present them clearly and engage constructively with the people making the decisions.
Outside work, Dan is a keen musician who released a solo folk album in 2025. He also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen and acting as roadie for his drummer son and dancer daughter.

Luca is a personable and considered adviser who takes time to understand each client’s circumstances and objectives. He provides clear, carefully structured advice that is tailored to their individual needs.
He builds strong relationships with clients and lenders, bringing a professional and measured approach to every case.
Luca is a keen football player and, staying true to his roots, tries to live on pasta as much as possible. He also has a very impressive collection of quarter zips.

Rhiannon is a highly experienced mortgage administrator and broker assistant with a background in complex and specialist lending.
She draws on her extensive knowledge of banks, building societies and niche lenders to support our advisers and clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey from application through to completion.
Rhiannon loves travelling, taking her dog on long walks and, perhaps inevitably for someone named after a Fleetwood Mac song, listening to music from the golden era. She also spends the entire year counting down to Christmas.
Our story.
Pavilion began with a conversation between Dan and Alex about creating a mortgage brokerage equipped for the increasingly nuanced circumstances of modern borrowers: a firm grounded in relationships, strengthened by technology and confident in navigating complexity.
Dan had developed a firm belief that advisers should do more than just submit applications and wait for decisions. By building genuine, collaborative relationships with lenders, Pavilion could create dialogue around a case, speak directly with decision-makers, and help shape solutions for clients who may not fit neatly within standard criteria.
Alex had become increasingly frustrated by the inefficiencies that consume so much of an adviser’s time. By designing intelligent systems that reduce duplication and improve consistency, Pavilion could allow its advisers to concentrate on what matters: understanding each client’s circumstances and structuring the right lending solution.
Together, those ideas became the foundation of Pavilion. With more than 35 years of combined industry experience, Dan and Alex have built a team capable of bringing clarity and calm to even the most complicated property finance journey.

For generations, London’s coffee houses and taverns have provided a setting for merchants, underwriters and financiers to test ideas, create alliances and shape markets. The formation of Lloyd's of London at Edward Lloyd’s coffee house remains one of the most well-known examples of that heritage.
In a nod to that enduring British tradition, Pavilion Finance Solutions began life when Alex and Dan first mapped out their ideas in their favourite London pub, The Pavilion End.
Those ideas evolved into a shared and defined vision: to establish a City brokerage capable of pairing the increasingly nuanced needs of modern borrowers with the breadth, character and depth of the UK’s diverse lending market. A firm grounded in relationships, informed by experience and confident in navigating complexity.
